Mỹloan Malone photography

Hello from the SF Bay Area!

My love for photography started early— with one of those classic film cameras that had a flat rectangular frame and a flash cube that made me flinch every time it fired. Next came a Polaroid, which instantly sparked my fascination with capturing moments in real time. I was five when my mom—who owned both—first taught me how to use them. But everything changed when she added a 35mm Nikon FM2 to her collection. That camera became my little bestie, tagging along on all my adventures and keeping every secret I ever told it through the lens.

To this day, I’m a forever Nikon girl.

My love language is diversity and inclusivity. As someone of mixed race, my work reflects the beauty of blended identities and the stories that often go untold. I know what it feels like to be the underdog, and I approach my work with empathy, curiosity, and an open heart. My camera doesn’t just take pictures—it connects me to people, celebrates uniqueness, and loves unconditionally.

Photography has taken me all over the world—from coast to coast across the U.S. to unforgettable assignments abroad. Being a Travel Photographer gave me the privilege of telling stories across cultures, landscapes, and communities. Each destination deepened my belief in the power of connection and the universality of emotion.

Some of the clients I’ve had the honor to work with include:

Fujifilm Instax, Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, VSCO, American Idol, Facebook (Meta)/Instagram/Twitter, Huffington Post, Stanford Children’s Hospital, and LDS Inc.

I’m a referral-based Photographer, meaning every shoot I’ve done has come from a personal connection — something I take great pride in. Because of this, popular dates book quickly, so I always recommend reaching out early to secure your session.

That said, I also understand how life can throw unexpected challenges your way —whether it’s missing your only chance at a family portrait or being ghosted by a photographer on a special day. If I can help, I will. Don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d love to hear your story and see if we can create something meaningful together.

Currently, I’m also pursuing a lifelong dream: becoming a Registered Nurse. Balancing school with photography has added a new depth to how I view care, compassion, and human connection—from behind the lens and beyond it.

Thank you for stopping by.

XOXO
